In my spare time I run Paper Curious, designing and illustrating original paper toys and crafts inspired by the museum collections that I’ve worked for. I have used my art within my teaching practice to create engaging family sessions and unique programmes. Additionally I have been commissioned to produce pieces for family days and festivals, including for the Brooklyn Museum and the New York Historical Society.
Do you have an object in your collection that you’d like to highlight? Or do you want to challenge me to find a hidden gem and design an activity related to it? Contact me to discuss how I can use your collection to engage families in your museum or gallery. You can also explore some examples from the New York Historical Society, which include a hidden painting and a show stopping historic coach.
